Masafumi Tamura (Two Car, Ange Vierge) is directing the anime at SILVER LINK,

As someone who saw the first episode of Ange Vierge, this doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I did enjoy Chivalry of a Failed Knight, so i'll give this a shot at least.

Isekai + magic academy... perfection.

I hope Silver Link will do a good job like with Rakudai.

A few thematic notes in Kenja that set it apart from more recent isekai webnovel stories:

- No RPG-like menus, elements or references.

- Non-harem. Story gives multiple One True Pairings for the MC and his friends - everyone gets one.

These actually seem like enormous positives to me. Isekai stories are often over-indulgent, to the point many of them have ludicrously large harems.

Oh, it's still over-indulgent. Just in a different way. Modern and pop culture knowledge + world's best magic teacher = OP in ways that would make most isekai protags weep.

Not that that's a bad thing, particularly in this story.

yeah, and unlike most "MC is OP" isekai, at least this one allows the supporting cast to become (almost) equally op as well. That, and the the show is also a little less obvious about handing everything to the MC on a silver platter. (it still does so, but at least it has sound logic behind it for the most part)

yeah, the worse part on this oen is that the mc is supossed to be a reincarnated one, yet there's nothing hinting that he was an adult in his previous life; but that has become a common flaw of a lot of isekai. This is really one of those where he might as well be just a genious.

There was a 9/22/2017 ANN article that mentioned about the series would get an anime adaptation. There is enough LN material to have at least 1 24-epi. series.

Weird, no waifus on the key visual.

Could this series... actually have production values??? Not expecting quality though; I read a couple of arcs and it was fairly boring. Main heroine has no personality besides 'thirsts for MC' and the other characters are one-note. RIP Kurt's dad though.

MC looks younger than in that artwork. That girl has nice side oppai. I like the plot so I'll be watching.
