The 2012 movie Guskō Budori no Denki is available subtitled or dubbed into English under the title The Life of Budori Gusuko, so the latter should be the primary title and Guskō Budori no Denki should be an alternative title with the attribute "(Japanese)".
In addition, the 2012 movie not, at least in the way that IMDb's guidelines, for one example, define it, a remake of the 1994 movie of the same title because on is not based on the other; rather, they are both based on the same work by Kenji Miyazawa. I seem to remember that such different adaptations of the same source are generally stated to simply be "related to" each other? |
