I kind of feel they failed at not getting attention in the West with this game, even though that's what they tried to avoid by never releasing it here.

That was never the plan though with not releasing DOAX3 what it was exactly is for debate.

Secondly with Venus being a browser game as opposed to a traditional game that's also exclusive to the Asian market that alone means it won't get much attention in the mainstream.
