Ah, this series was so much fun! I really wish it would get a second season - the sheer joy of being around these characters prompted me to get into the manga and it is consistently good stuff. Not to mention it addresses some of the character problems with the less engaging couples - Minagawa is a particular delight and gets some really good character development later on.

I’m glad it’s got such a solid physical release.

Akagi and Royko were a delight to watch. Finally, a main male lead who isn't a wimp about confessing his feeling. Kamine and Gouda were another great couple and I love watching the development of their relationship.

I really enjoyed this show.

My only problems with it were, after having so many of the couples dodge a prolonged “will they, won’t they?” typical anime romance, the show kinda settles into following one for too long. Also the show, especially for a short, has too damn many characters and they were introducing new ones all the way through the final episode.

Tsuredure Children is short, comprised of twelve eight-minute episodes.

Wait, shouldn’t it be 12x12 minutes? The episodes definitely were half-length.

Agreed on all points and I was coming in to say the same thing. Too many characters for such a short length. I think this may be a case where they stuck too closely to the pacing/order of the manga, which would clearly have much more room to handle all these characters and doesn't have a 12 episode cap.
