The gameplay itself looks pretty solid, even if the art direction looks like they barely had budget... I heard Justin Wong was helping with playtesting so I'm lowkey pretty excited. The pricetag seems just right too, so hopefully word of mouth can get it around enough to warrant more characters or a future version with more money behind it! I'm all for more Power Rangers/Sentai properties getting video games

It was also revealed during last week's live stream that Clockw0rk and Shady K joined as combat designers with the former leading it and Justin also made a video of his own with highlights of his matches from said stream:

They already teased they they'll keep supporting this game like with Legacy Wars and the major fighters that get new characters every year but here's hoping it does okay enough so it doesn't end up like the games that had their developer support cut early in their run (like Soul Calibur 5 and Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite).

As for me, I'm definitely buying but I need an exact date already so I can plan my pre-order without worrying about money along the way. They previously said April but then Spring so it could be May or early June at the latest.

It's good to see that it's a departure from Legacy Wars. I like Legacy Wars, but I'm not gonna pay $30 for a port of a mobile game.
