Comic shop! Hopefully they'll get more in (they admitted, their supplier held back). On the plus side, they said their manga section used to be (mostly) dead, but now it's active and selling pretty damn well (and not just the big titles, like One Punch Man or Attack on Titan), so hooray!

Picked up recently:
Backstage Prince Vols. 1-2 Tenchi Forever! The Movie DVD Tenchi the Movie 2: Daughter of Darkness DVD Tenchi Muyo! OVA Premium DVD Collection I actually already have the OVA set (it was given to me by a friend who was looking to get rid of a bunch of anime and manga and had no cares on what I did with them), but I noticed this set was thinner and had more art inside of the set, with discs that barely looked like they were watched. The set I owned was thicker with the discs sitting inside of an inner white case. I'll likely be replacing my previous set with this one due to the art. It was a nice Goodwill outlet find at $1, and totally worth the purchase! |

Since I recently read (and very much enjoyed) the first 3 vols of Dengeki Daisy, I went ahead and ordered (most) of the rest! And found vol 16 at the comic shop!

Went to GameStop today to pick up a game that came out today, but found and fell in love with a figure in their case: This super pretty Bulma!
Husband surprised me also with My Hero Academia Season 1 from Best Buy. |

Haven't posted in a while, so here's an update...
1st about 4 weeks ago at 2nd & Charles: I Want to Eat Your Pancreas manga Urusei Yatsura TV Vol 1-3 Urusei Yatsura OVA Box (they have ALL of UY TV, so I hope to eventually get back and pick it up in chunks as long as it doesn't sell before I can do so...) Then last weekend at FYE (who had buy one, get one 1/2 price on anime): And You Thought There Is Never a Girl Online? SE Shimoneta: The Complete Series: Essentials Edition at another FYE: Sailor Moon SuperS: The Movie BD Bikini Warriors and finally, at Barnes & Noble last weekend: Police Story / Police Story 2: The Criterion Collection BD Eromanga Sensei manga Vol. 2 Mayo Chiki manga omnibus Vol. 1 Funny thing about "And you Thought..." is the title just came out in Funimations Essentials line, which I was going to buy, but then saw this leftover Standard Edition from it's initial release, which was actually priced $3 less (at their full retail prices) than the new Essentials release and included the DVD copy and slipcover that was stripped from the Essentials version. Made no sense, but I wasn't going to complain LOL. Shimoneta I had wanted since 1st release, and got the Essentials release for 1/2 price, so score! As for the choice of Bikini Warriors, it had been marked down to $20, so getting it for 1/2 price ($10) wasn't bad for 48 minutes of fanservice... Finally, purchased yesterday: 1 General Admission ticket to see BABYMETAL in concert in NYC on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the Terminal 5 music venue. Will be my 1st BABYMETAL concert after being a fan for several years, looking forward to it! The concert will cap off my weekend @ Colossalcon East in the Pocono Mountains (by taking a bus early Sunday afternoon from here to NY for the concert and checking into a hotel to stay the night after the show in NYC). The ticket was a little pricey at $59.50, but got even more so when venue fees were added to the purchase (SMH)... |

True Tenchi Muyo 3: Washu (novel)
(actually- bought a month or two ago, upon release- didn't realize I hadn't listed it.) thrift shopping some manga: Barakamon 1-4 My Neighbor Seki 1-4 I've actually started to try my hand as a reseller on eBay- I like my anime- so I don't plan to sell much (and if I decide I do not want something Alan45 gave out- it gets offered back to the Community for free). But the side effect is that I expect to find more for myself. Two weeks ago I found the DVD set of Live Aid 1985 for $3 - bid is currently at $66 and may go up to $100+ before it ends... but if I find Paranoia Agent for $3, I'm keeping it! (sells well over $100- even in poor condition) |

Damn comic shop, they had a super sale, all manga normally up to $20 were $5! I, uh, went a little crazy?
20th Century Boys omnibus 3, 4 ACCA 1 Candy Color Paradox 2 Captain Harlock: Dimensional Voyage 1 Dimension W 14 Dragon Ball Super 5 Dr Stone 6 For the Kid I Saw in My Dreams 1 Graineliers 3 Love in Focus 1 Maiden Railways My Hero Academia 19 Ooku 15 Promised Neverland 10 Radiant 5 Record of Grancest War 3 Re:Zero manga vol 3-7 Seraph of the End 17 Shoulder a Coffin Kuro 6, 7 Snow White with the Red Hair 1 Takane & Hana 9 Tokyo Ghoul: re 11 Ultraman 12 Yona of the Dawn 18 Some new debuts, some I'm exicted for, and new vols of some favorite series, a fine haul, I must say! Though a bit sad they didn't have Our Dreams at Dusk, so hopefully next time *edit, I read and liked ACCA v1, so i went back and got the rest that they had, 3-6. Only missing v2, not bad at all!
