Spike is 27. Cho is pushing 50. Too old.

Character is 27, looks like he's in his mid 30's, and being played by a guy in his late 40's.....seems legit.

Let it be known that Spike is a wearied & damaged man so stress making him look older than his actual age is not a ridiculous idea.
Plus this picture is a selfie taken before the actual filming stuff like make-up & right lighting so he’ll most likely look better in the final production.

I dunno. I've seen a lot of people singing praises to John Cho being cast as Spike. I just started to assume majority liked it.

She's just in the news lately, but for godsakes Olivia Newton-John played an iconic high school girl when she was around 30!

Around here at least news to his casting has been kinda of mixed.

You know Spike is a smoker in his late 20s, right? Two things that can age you prematurely: Smoking and being POTUS.
