actually an enjoyable read.


MC doesnt wanna be the hero, but someone liek batman who works from the shadows.


Makes some random story up afterh elping a girl to try and get her to help him.

Ends up that story is real and the girls believe it whiel guy thinks it isnt real just soemthing he made up.

Are you sure you're not thinking of The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!), which Yen Press is releasing? Your description sounds exactly like that one.

I could believe J-Novel's has a very similar plot, but from the little I've read it seemed like it was slightly different; even though I immediately thought it was similar to The Eminence in Shadow when reading this synopsis.
