Ooh I can’t wait for more. I liked the first season. I hope Netflix gives us another season of Kantaro: the sweet tooth salaryman!

I don't think cafeteria is a good word to describe the place. In the places I have lived, a cafeteria is a high volume, low cost, serve yourself assembly line for food. Not at all the image presented here. The place is basically a hole-in-the-wall diner. A one man operation providing food, drink and philosophy at the low point of the night.

Highly recommended.

Feels more similar to an Izakaya, even though this is a diner.

Nice. I really liked the previous one. I think that in Japan, this show has a lot of seasons. I hope those can come over at some point as well.

I have watched it on flights to and from Japan - being subtitled (unlike English language productions) I can follow the dialogue fully over the noise of the aircraft.
