Is the length of this commercial homage to a certain very lengthy special attack in said game, or mere coincidence?

I mean, it's a 7 minute commercial for...Final Fantasy 7.

I did laugh when the person in the restaurant started freaking out about spoilers. Oddly, I missed the FF7 boat because I never had a Playstation of my own, though I did play my friends' Playstations. But of course, I know the big spoilers now, because it's impossible to not get spoiled. It's a little sad to me because now I'll never get to experience FF7 the way people did when it came out.
