I'm mostly just interested in seeing their Galaxy Express 999 TV upscale on December 24th. Its going to put Toei's bad upscale to shame.

Wait they put out all of the Galaxy Express 999 TV series?
I thought they only put out part of it and then dropped it?

Maybe you're thinking of the old horrible DVD release by a company called S'more, infamous for having hard subs on a DVD. Discotek licensed/saved the TV series last year and will give us a proper release.

Alright, I have heard an excerpt of that Discotek Media dub of Galaxy Express 999: Eternal Fantasy and, oh man, it sucks. Especially without a Ocean Group voice actor. Also, instead of David Matranga as Captain Harlock and Lisa Ortiz as Maetel, Sound Cadence Studios should bring back Lex Lang as Captain Harlock and Saffron Henderson as Tetsurō. Do you agree with me?
