Nice to see OLM animating an anime that is not family-friendly, to say at least. OLM has done a number of anime of children-oriented anime, most notably animating Pokemon anime, one of their most famous works.

I hope at least this time there won't be any suicide jokes at the expense of Osamu Dazai (looking at you Bungo Stray Dogs!)

Too bad, he is still a suicidal narcissist (with a passion for fashion) in BunAru.
Considering that Dazai IRL attempted suicide 5 times (and was a feature in his writings) most things that feature an adaptation of Dazai seek to reference suicide and to keep it light-hearted they make it a joke. BunAru's genre and art style pretty much makes it certain that it won't be taken seriously and will be played off
