I kind of knew that Sentai was getting this show. An English dub would be nice, but I am content with a sub-only BD release.

I am sure that is their intention. If I am not mistaken After the Rain is the 4th Amazon exclusive they have licensed.

I enjoyed After the Rain more than I thought I would so I'm glad to see this being picked up by Sentai. Now I wish they would release Re:Creators.

That's owned by Aniplex. There are still many shows Aniplex owns not released on home video in the US (only Japan) and only streaming in broadcast/censored version for some reason.

...no it isn't. People seem to think it is, since Aniplex hosted a Re:Creators event at Anime Expo, but there's no mention of it on Aniplex USA's website, they made no mention of it on any of their social media accounts when it was airing, and by all accounts the license is owned by Amazon, where it simulcasted.

I'm pretty sure Persona 4 The Animation was produced by Aniplex in Japan, but dubbed and released by Sentai FIlmworks in North America. I'm sure that they could do the same for Re:CREATORS, which I have DESPERATELY been wanting a home video release for.

Honestly, I really hope Sentai gets it because I do not want to pay $150-250 for a full Re:CREATORS box set.

Back on the topic of After The Rain, I definitely see them dubbing this one, and giving it a collector's/limited edition box set treatment. Include the soundtrack, some art cards, a keychain, and BOOM - instant seller! I hope fans will buy this up, just to show Sentai that picking up these Amazon shows is worth it.

-Marc.

Happy news. Anime turned out better than the 5-volume US release manga and it would be a welcomed addition to rewatch.
