I really wish the word "gross" as an adjective would die out and be replaced with a word that sounds much less... well, gross.

But yeah, ecchi anime gonna ecchi anime. If you like it, you like it, if you don't, you don't. Not much else for me to say here regarding this show I have no present reason or desire to watch.

They could at least try to make their censorship funny, Austin power had an entire scene with that concept and it was hilarious. I guess they go nipple headlight just so they can decensor it.

The AT-X version is mostly uncensored......sort of. As it turns out, Peter is like Ken, and the girls are like Barbie Confused

These euphemisms are not bad, but they don't quite reach the level of "itch the ditch" from a certain fansub of AmaBuri.

On another note, this was an entertaining read Very Happy.

Three. I don't remember it well, and have no intent of rewatching

Thoughts and prayers for the subtitlers, who have to keep coming up with slang terms for semen! Laughing
So, did Pete knock any of the girls up yet?

I read some of the manga, and I'm pretty sure it cut around the sex more than the show. It's an intentionally dumb comedy about the main character getting in over his head. That's the appeal, and that's why the show needs the audience to like the character but doesn't need the audience to respect him.

Wait, people watch the less censored version instead of the fully uncensored one? Shocked

I love Maburaho and it holds a special place in my heart as one of the few shows that set up a specific plot and played it out.

Scrapped Princess: As if they'd do that.
Maburaho: They'd do that. And they did it without an amnesia subplot that ruined the entire series.

I like Peter Grill but I have few expectations for it. For sake of comparison, it's no Teacher, Why Are You Here?! as the fantasy setting and use of only fantasy species as the female pursuers keeps the show from the levels of audaciousness Teacher played at.

Let's look at the problem... In Peter Grill, it's Peter Grill who shouldn't be naughty but in Teacher, it's everyone. It's wrong, so wrong, so very, very wrong.
I just don't know if Peter Grill can reach that level by the end.

Glad to hear Sentai has some good translators doing work for them now. Every disc release I've ever bought from them has been absolutely riddled with errors (sometimes so extreme that they completely reverse the meaning of a line).
