Also add to the fact that they're still in the midst of recovering from the NGT48 scandal last year that resulted in the halt of nearly every 48 group's activities and general elections being cancelled..

PS: what about Morning Musume? Didn't they rank #2 behind Perfume amongst female idol groups?
