The word in the Japanese subtitle for the manga (チャラ男消防士はまっすぐな目で私を抱いた) is "chara-o" (チャラ男) not "kyara otoko" (キャラ男). The English equivalent is "playboy." "Kyara otoko" is not the correct reading for those katakana, nor is it even a word.
Not the first time ANN has mis-romanized that title, but it is the first time I noticed. |
