Wow, that's out of nowhere. A pleasant surprise.

Next thing you know, they'll finally do an S2 of Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun.
Considering it was announced on Kadokawa Expo - more like No Game No Life second season. spoiler[Cause Horizon On The Middle of Nowhere continuation never happens.]

Now we've got sequels for Mahouka, Log Horizon and Hataraku Maou-sama, what's next? No Game No Life? Grimgar?

I'm excited. But.... that preview worries me (just a little) it looks like they went with a different studio for this version after watching the preview.

Huh. I gave up on this years ago. This is so so nice.
Maybe theyll think about doing NGNL2 next, considering it keeps selling like crazy.

After 8 years, it would have been a miracle to put together the same key staff. At least it isn't as jarring as other more recent examples.

Whoah, now that's a surprise. I thought there never would be a second season to this. I think this would make it rank pretty well on a Longest Gap Between Seasons list.

Woke up to several nice surprises this morning, but this is the biggest one.

Absolutely giddy that more is getting animated, but I also have to wonder how much they intend to adapt. The first series had a slow adaptation pace as light novels go (it only covered two volumes), and it stopped on the easiest break point in the series. After that point, the bigger overarching plotline more decidedly kicks in but the story spends a lot of time piddling around between major plot points - so much so that my enthusiasm for keeping up with it waned after spoiler[the Enta Isla arc]. I have volumes 16-18 all waiting to be read, so maybe this will encourage me to buckle down and get caught up.

Miracles really do happen, it seems.

It was nice to see the cast back and the preview for season 2 with the original. Obviously these tease one of the new main characters but I'm curious how far this season 2 will go because there's still a lot left to adapt.

Last few years have been full of those "I never though this would get a sequel" announcements. Full Metal Panic, Log Horizon, Mahouka...but I never dared to hope The Devil Is a Part-Timer! would be among them. What's next? Baccano ? (man can dream Very Happy )
