José Carlos San Segundo (person#206153)
José Carlos Sansegundo (person#152889)
Cote Sansegundo (person#184345)

Sansegundo is a misspelling of San Segundo. Coté (instead of Cote) is his nickname, but he is better known as José Carlos. Both #152889 and #184345 should be merged into #206153.

These need to be merged. I accidentally made a typo when adding them.
person#3522
person#206072

These also need to be merged. I have no idea which is the correct spelling, but on A Little Snow Fairy Sugar, it's "Skye Lewin".

On "Laura Gadbois Attwell", is there an instance where she's actually credited as such, and so would confirm the connection? I noticed with the package images linked in that entry, it's either "Laura Attwell" (Ruin Explorers) or "Laura Gadbois" (Ushio & Tora), and a lot is seemingly taken from the CrystalAcids entry maybe without regard to checking what the actual credits showed for those titles. IMDb seems to consider "Laura Gadbois" as her primary name and I'm not sure of the timeline of her names at the moment. Making sure I'm not going on assumptions being made that may have been incorrect.

^For Street Fighter II V, the switch to Attwell started at Volume 2 (episodes 4-6) so assuming it is the same person, it would have been in 1999 since according to the copyright credits, the first volume was released the year before.

As for the three name page, I just looked at my New Cutey Honey DVDs again out of curiosity and she's only credited as Gadbois there on all 5 episodes she was in.

(Each of them are listed as being originally released in 1998 just like II V volume 1)

Admittedly I forgot how I handled her II V entry before so if you want me to switch her entries for Ushio & Tora and Black Lion to the Gadbois page then no problem.

EDIT:

Just looked at my Slayers: Book of Spells DVD, also Gadbois there.

On Ruin Explorers, the VHS credits go with "Gadbois". I added the precision "VHS Vol. 2, DVD". I did "Laura Gadbois Attwell" only because that was already there (person that had no precision used CrystalAcids for their source), if it wasn't, I was going to use "Laura Gadbois". The VHS back cover for Volume 2 also uses "Gadbois".

Bit off-topic, but can you unmark this Ruin Explorers DVD as delayed/cancelled? I have no idea why it's still marked as such when it did in fact come out.

I also added a precision ("Dubbed VHS") to something that already had "Laura Gadbois Attwell" for Dark Warrior because again, something was already there (the one with no precision had no source).

On MAPS, the VHS back cover uses "Laura Gadbois". The same goes for Bite Me! Chameleon.

Looking up stuff from the "Laura Attwell" page, the back cover of the Burn Up! W DVD uses that as well as the 1999 Sakura Wars DVD and the 2000 Sakura Diaries DVD.

I can't find an instance of "Laura Gadbois Attwell" at this time.

Ok, given the evidence in this case (particularly the Street Fighter II V thing), I think I'm going to replace merge Laura Gadbois Attwell -> Laura Attwell, since it seems likely the former was just a creation of the CrystalAcids page to consolidate the names. If you have any entries on "Gadbois Attwell" where you can confirm the credits, could you reassign them to either "Gadbois" or "Attwell" for now? For any that were actually Gadbois, I'll hide the redundant entries on Gadbois Attwell that were submitted by other users so that they won't show on Attwell's page post merge.

One that I investigated and fixed myself was Adventures of Kotetsu, since I noticed someone had added Gadbois to the Japanese staff. I moved it to English but noticed Attwell was already there (with CrystalAcids sourced). My assumption was that it was probably Gadbois credited and there's proof of it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Adventures-of-Kotetsu-Anime-VHS-Video-Tape-New-English-Dubbed-/324386869888

As for the Ruin Explorers Essential Collection, did it actually come out on the originally scheduled day mentioned by the current note (in which case conflicting information must have gotten out there somehow), or was it delayed (so the note is correct, but never got updated with the date)?

This is what little information I can find regarding the Ruin Explorers EAC DVD.
https://dvdlist.kazart.com/queryDVDList.php3?id=46467
https://web.archive.org/web/20050313202926/http://www.animeondvd.com/reviews2/disc_reviews/3255.php
animenewsnetwork.com/news/2004-09-09/ruin-explorers-delayed

Everyone is citing the original date, but that ANN article came out a week later. AOD never made a change, but Chris ended up reviewing it all the way in November. It's proving difficult to get what the correct date is via the Wayback Machine on ADVFilms.com and RightStuf.com.

[Edit] I've gone through the Gadbois Attwell entry and readded them to the "Gadbois" page for staff credits for the following after looking up back covers for the VHS and DVD releases:

Black Lion (OAV) - This to be marked as cancelled, seems it never came out.
Dark Warrior (OAV)
Dragon Knight (OAV)
Legend of Crystania - The Motion Picture
MAPS (OAV 1994)
Panzer Dragoon (OAV)
Princess Minerva (OAV) - Can you mark the 2005 DVD as cancelled? Seems it never came out, the 2008 DVD did come out however.
Ruin Explorers - Fam & Ihrie (OAV)
Slayers - The Motion Picture

NJ_ can take care of readding them for Ushio & Tora.

I've left these alone as it's "Attwell":
Compiler (OAV) - Can you mark this as delayed/cancelled? You could add the UPC as well, 702727066122 (If you get an error, it's because the site uses HTTP instead of HTTPS.)
Compiler 2 (OAV)
Debutante Detective Corps (OAV)
Master of Mosquiton (OAV)
Rail of the Star - A True Story of Children and War (movie) - I can't find the back cover of the dubbed VHS tape to see if they're on there (original entry has no source), the subbed tape has "Lorraine Reyes" for Art Director.

Cast information will be much harder for me to find so I'm largely leaving that alone, but I readded them to the Gadbois page for Ruin Explorers as those VHS credits I linked earlier also have them on there as "Gadbois" for the additional voices.

I've tried to weed out the voice credits by searching out English ending credits where I can find them. The only legit Attwell on the "Gadbois Attwell" entry was in Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. I didn't find Princess Minerva's scroll, but it would be unlikely she was Attwell if she's Gadbois on the dubbed VHS case. All voice roles on the current Laura Attwell entry seem to check out, except I can't find Dirty Pair Flash Mission 3 ep. 5. That just leaves me to look through the staff credits for anything suspicious right now, and then I'll be ready to merge.

I'm not sure what was the case with the Slayers: Book of Spells staff credit. It looks like for the original VHS releases of those OVA's, she was credited on the back as Gadbois for Art Direction and Packaging Design, and only Doug Smith is credited for Logo Design. If she were credited for Logo Design on the DVD (and I think at that point, she would have been going by Attwell), I don't see it on that back cover.

I don't have the ADV DVDs for Dirty Pair Flash, but I've got the Nozomi release and on the black screen English credit roll at the end of the disc for disc 3, for additional voices it's "Laura Gadbois", so unless they made an error (I've caught a few staff credit errors on Nozomi releases, mainly where they failed to credit more than one or two people), that seems to be what it actually is.

It would not let me add it, because it's the exact same UPC as currently listed on this release.

It was apparently released in late 1998, enough on the line of the assumed chronology that it's probably right. In the first Dirty Pair OVA episode, she is Attwell, but that was dubbed later according to CrystalAcids (May 1999).

Something else I checked just now, on Battle Angel, in the credit roll for the episodes on the DVD, only Lorraine Reyes is credited for "Art Director", but in the DVD credits screen (found in the scene select instead of extras for whatever reason), it's "Laura Attwell".

On Ruin Explorers' EAC DVD, there's a little more info found.

I would assume given when it was released that it would be Gadbois. But I found the back cover for the dubbed VHS and the ending credits for the movie (subbed) and both are also Lorraine Reyes. The only other possibility would seem to be the dub ending credits.

Such a strange situation. I guess the note I left covers things as best I could, as it seems unlikely ADV ever gave an updated date.

Viz credited this person under both spellings and I didn't notice the second until after the first was posted and looking them up, apparently they were part of Video Arts (authoring house who handled the Death Note DVDs) and this typo was made before on credits for other works.
