Production. I'm little out date, but last time i check they didn't produce anime. What they saying what kind production are they doing? I remember back in the day they were doing those video blog shows about Japan.

This is from the pre-release "Episode 0" that aired last week with the seiyuu going over Season 1 and their expectations for Season 2.

You are out of date. Crunchyroll has been on the production committee for several anime series' by now. That basically means they contribute to financing the creation of the series.
