40 animations a year? Like, as a support studio or a main studio? Because while the former could be fine, the latter has some...ominous implications.

To achieve this goal, the company aims to strengthen its production system so that it can produce 40 new animation titles a year by 2023, an increase of 20 percent from 33 titles.

Oh dear. I can’t be the only one who thinks this is bad. The staff are already overworked as it is. Isn’t this going to make things worse for them?

If they stopped pouring money into CG. They could pay their animators more and it would help reduce the overuse of 3DCG in Anime.

Things we get from it
1 Jp Animators life in hell
and some foreign Animators
2 They only see Anime as a product now
It's only money that matters to these
Production committee
3 So we getting Quantity over Quality
in that worst time schedule
4 So we are getting more EX ARM like
shows thanks to KADOKAWA
5 Animators life in Japan is already in bad condition
because they are under paid and over worked
6 the animators in Japan are declining
rate

7 Chinese companies already have
Started making their moves taking
Advantage of this situation
It's Same thing
Under this circumstances
China is now like. Evil or Very Mad

if jp Anime industry don't do anything better for jp Animators in future number of jp Animators will decline
Chinese Animation industry soon will surpass them .... for example Billibili investing hard!!

How about investing in 2D. CG only has a few hits, and they come from Polygon with Sidonia no Kishi and Blame, for example. You don't need to do this. Stick to tradition.

Kadokawa, how about something like 12-15 animated works a year while bettering the pay and work conditions of the animators?

Well, maybe they can also create a world class morgue for all the animators they'll work to the grave with such lofty ambitions. Rolling Eyes

I mean seriously, the market is already over saturated as is purely with just the amount being produced. That doesn't even take into account working conditions. So what's their big idea? Create a mega studio to pump out even more pointless generic titles while they simultaneously work an even larger number of staff into an early grave. How about quality over quantity? How about paying the current animators, studio techs, etc. you already have a decent wage. That's a much better idea then making some mega ultimate anime studio.
