The gorgeous looking anime that never got a season 2 because it was on netflix so nobody cared.

I agree, I watched the anime recently and would have loved a second season. The story really feels set up to be a long term mystery thing but we only got 12 eps.

At least the manga is there

^ I highly recommend the manga! It’s one of my favorites right now. It has incredible world building, character writing, and gorgeous art!

I didn’t know about this spin off (or the OVAs), but now I want to check them out.
