Meh, as someone who like SEED (screw destiny though) I'd rather they just make a new universe rather than continue seed. Not much more to say and the freedom strike is dangerously close to being over designed so I don't particularly want to see the next iteration.
Or we could just get advanced of Zeta, I just want to see the woundwort in all it's animated glory (no cg).

I remember watching fansubs of Gundam SEED Destiny as it was airing in Japan years ago. I also remember the show being really bad, especially in the last few episodes. No thanks!

We updated this article to note that the way Kadokawa has worded things in the magazine, it does seem heavily hinted (but definitely not confirmed) that the new project might be a manga.

Could they be turning the plot of the movie into a manga since Morosawa said the plot was already completed back in 2008?

I actually really like seed and destiny, after they remastered it of course. Athrun decimating Shinn in three moves and leaving him to cry on the moon is IMO worth the whole franchise.I would love a Seed movie as Athrun and Cagalli are left unresolved. Need closure on that.

Apart from the cropping, the new version is actually pretty good with better editing and a lot of reworked action scenes. Honestly, the action scenes are IMO that much improved.
