Has their been any news on streaming or a simulcast for this? I'm wanting to check this out since I really like the director's other Getter Robo work a ton.

I don't think it's going to happen. Mecha is consider to be a niche genre unless it's something like Gundam. Not even Shin Mazinger Impact Z! got a simulcast when it came out (Supposedly CR wanted too at the time).
