Excited for this! Backflip was one of my favorite surprises this season, so I'm glad it's got more to come!

Couldn't have happened to a better sleeper hit.
The season was too packed with different but equally appealing shows for a decisive AOTS, but bakuten was darn near flawless. Best usage of CG for humanoid movement since Land of the Lustrous, top cast, sakuga flexes all over, utterly joyful energy. In a genre where heavy melodrama serves as obligatory hurdles and often grounds the sport itself, Bakuten soared. |

Maybe I didn't read through it properly, but did they say what kind of film it is? is it a franchise recap film, a sequel film continuing the story, or is it something else entirely?
