Chances are the story itself will barely have anything to do with the original either. Musical adaptations are like live action TV adaptations, a completely different beast for a completely different audience, most of whom are not familiar with the source material and are not likely to want to read it in the future either.

Gary Daniels has the rugged bodybuilder look befitting of Kenshiro, and there is a legacy there, he named his son Kenshiro and he's a footballer.

This actor portraying him is one of those soft boy models that can barely benchpress their cellphone, but that's normal for this kind of thing. The best thing about these plays/musicals, is the costumes are pretty much always on point, even if the casting is not.

Yusuke Onuki is pretty muscular and he's also a professionally trained dancer.

ow.... ow, my brain.... How? Just how can they make this gore-fest work on a stage? There need to be amazing special effects, and sets, and fight choreography, and and and and-
