What is Jump may never die and this is as 80s as it gets, even Japan can´t move on from the 80s, but a live-action version of Wingman belongs in the 90s. Shrug.

I wonder if the Garo guys considered doing Zetman? It has undeniable pachinko potential.

Wingman is one of my favorite anime series from my childhood. I loved watching it on french TV in the late 80s. I don't mind getting a live action series, but I have my doubts that the original's goofy charm and cool 80s soundtrack can be translated well into live action.

Is it going to be modernized or will the setting stay in the 80s?
Kinda curious how long they'll make it.

What a surprise announcement. I never expected this. Its live action so I'm not going to be hard on it. If it were a new anime then I'd say what I have to say.

Series based on story by Tiger & Bunny designer

Being reduced to "Tiger & Bunny designer" for clicks (or I guess for the casuals) when he's made a name for himself prior to that. smh
