Beat me to it.

Considering the design is from Oh Great, her character looks a lot more...clothed....than I would have imaged.

Also, CMX Manga publishes Tenjo Tenge in the US, not CPM (poor CPM isn't doing much of anything these days :B).

Hm... I guess you could say Oh! Great is his pen name. It's really more an alternate spelling of the way his name sounds when said correctly, Ogure Ito, almost as a way to keep us from saying it wrong. I'd surmise it's a pun on his name, rather than a pen name, but semantics.

Well, there are some of us would would debate whether CMX really publishes Tenjo Tenge in the US. Cause I see 4kids level butchery of a mature title. Then again, this is AOL Time Warner Comics (aka DC Comics) we're talking about. You can't get a larger corporate comics publisher than that in America.

That's what I thought! Particularly since most of the designs for the game this time around have been tending towards more stripperiffic styles than past installments have.

Don't worry, I'm sure multiple costumes will take care of that.

Sony has a no-nudity/porn policy in their games, which is why you won't see Soul Calibur look as risque as Tenjho Tenge.

Uhhhhh. Okay, then how do you explain this? (Probably NSFW, but no actual nudity.) That's official art for the new game of the character Ivy, and in case you're wondering, she's had similar costumes in previous games. Never as bad as the new one, of course, but she's certainly far more risque than Oh! Great's new character. And that's not even mentioning Tira, Taki or Sophitia. There's more modest females in the game, to be sure (although their numbers seem to be dwindling in this installment...), but I doubt Oh! Great's design is because of Sony telling him he couldn't go risque.

...I was about to say "maybe he was thinking of practicality" and then I remembered she was wearing a skirt made out of metal, so that rules out that idea.

You've never played any of the God of War games, have you?

Also, Soul Calibur's release date has been confirmed as July 29th.

Well, I like it better than Shura's "chick with swords and a thong" style. I think it's rather imaginative, tbh.

Raoh: Nope. If there's nudity in those, I imagine it's not the titillating kind.

There's a mini game where you have a naked chick on your bed and you can knock a base over.

I wasn't speaking specifically of the mini-games themselves, or rather not speaking of how they're played, or anything. The nudity is common in the mini-games, but many of the games contain nudity in more than just the mini-games.

Although, some of it is unsightly (this refers mainly to the latter half of the second game, one of the sisters of fate, specifically).

All of the games contain nudity in the form of bare female breasts.

GATSU's statement that "Sony has a no-nudity/porn policy in their games" is false, just based on this fact.

And yes, the nudity in question is intended to arouse the player.
