So what took them so long to make an attraction out of Lupin?

He has been around quite some time, and is a pretty popular character.

What they really need is a Monsterland as seen in Godzilla vs. Gigan. That would be really cool!

True a Monsterland theme park(as seen in Godzilla vs. Gigan) would be awesome. I'm surprised that they did not actually make one since Godzilla was so popular too.

Yeah about time they did something with Lupin III. The franchise has been around for 40 years(started in 1967 as a manga).

TMS should spend less time working on Lupin mazes and more time on the TV specials, because nary a decent feature has been made since Episode 0: First Contact. Maybe releasing an annual special is more than they can handle. The franchise might need a breather for a few years.

Sounds like an interesting attraction, though.

I wish Lupin was as popular here as it is in Japan, and even Italy. Maybe then we'd get more Lupin stuff dubbed... Sad

Ditto. Since Funimation and Geneon were the previous owners of the license, the least they could do is finish the 2nd series and bring over the "Episode 0: First Contact" and "Green Vs. Red" OVAs over here. Sad

If Funimation continued to handle the Lupin franchise, I would hope they would use the dub cast of the Geneon version, and not the horrible cast they've been using.

True that First Contact was good, but I think others since have been decent at least. I do think some of the older stuff fares better nowadays though.

Its amazing when the Japanese do this kind of thing, and the attraction does sound pretty neat.
