Sounds like a bad fanfic. Of course, then again, when I first heard about Trunks way back when, I was convinced the "sword-slinging son of Vegeta from the future" had to be from some teen fanboy's bad self-insert fic... |

Who would've thought that Bejiita had a younger brother, this indeed sounds like a bad fanfic until you see the announcement on the official site with your own eyes. Speaking of fanfics, I expect that there will be a flood of them centering around Table once FUNimation dubs it. I hope that Trunks and Goten will have much exposure this time; they are my favorite characters in the series, and besides, this movie will end up being just a rehash of the Dragon Ball movies if Gokuu ended up saving the day with a kamehameha. |

That doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Turles, or Taures, is Taurus the bull and Goku's brother. So maybe the eldest were named after vegetables, and the siblings were just named randomly? Like others, I haven't heard of Table before tonight. No matter what, I'll watch it. It's Dragon Ball. |

The conclusion is that the Vegeta family name are derived from vegetables or are puns of the word and Table is derived from vegetable as others has stated before.
The story is pretty much leaked already since it was 1st aired in September and I can't wait. |

Turles is just a name made for the dub. Tullece was his actual name, which is pun off of Lettuce. Pretty much all of the Saiyans names are a pun off of Vegetables. Some in Japanese, some in English. |

Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you mean Raditz was Goku's brother? Turles was never specified as a relative of Goku; in fact, in the Budokai Tenkaichi games, it specifically says that he's not related. /fanboy
