Awe-****ing-some. This is the sort of show that should never be out-of-print.
And before any more whining commences, let me remind you that the last two announcements weren't "license rescues" at all, but DVD distribution sales in line with the other titles that FUNi has begun distributing for Geneon. It's highly likely that neither one was considered part of the announcement list. |

No Eva 1.0 (yet?), but this is a series I missed the first time around and I've been looking forward to a more affordable box set.

I was going to post "In before 100s of posts complaining about no Soul Eater or Evangelion 1.0," but it looks like I'm too late.
Still, I gotta wonder about those two titles. Something strange happen behind the scenes? |

Well I'm all for a cheaper Samurai Champloo box set but I'm still holding out for Eva.
So why is the forum having these issues? Is it because a lot of people are trying to post? |

*Mumbles about another Samurai anime that seems to have slipped under the radar, but holds out hope for the 31st. Sweet blissful ignorant hope.*
Though mini-rant aside, I'm happy to see that I'll have a chance to own this series. So this announcement isn't a total loss...though the only thing they've licensed this week that I'm at all excited about is Oh Edo!
