Well, yay! I'm glad that there will still be a few shows I want to watch on crunchyroll once it goes legit, but a question, if I don't order their subscription, will I have to wait a few days to see this for free?

Yes.
And that membership doesn't garantee you against any and all region blocking that may happen.

great...now i wont be able to watch this in decent quality without paying a bunch of losers (and criminals...that the japanese companies gave up on going against) an overpriced subscription fee

hopefully some group will still decide to sub it :\

I am not a fan of crunchyroll's quality either. Even the download to own episodes pretty much suck. I can make a much better encode than they can.

So...I guess we won't see fansubs for the new season of this?

Since so far Zoku Natsume Yujinchou is the only show Cruncyroll is offering that I actually care about this does interests me.

But when they say 1 hour after broadcast do they also mean subbed?

The licensors control what regions can and can't stream. You can't blame CR for that. They've already stated they're trying their hardest to get rights for more regions.

You can't still watch it later for free. Membership only gets you faster and better quality streams. Heaver forbid the Japanese companies (or the rest of the worlds content providers) and sites like CR find a middle ground for distribution where the site isn't litigated and the producers get the compensation they deserve. Considering that fansub groups are breaking the same laws that CR was your logic seems a bit confuing to me.

Yes, it will have English subtitles 1 hour after broadcast.

The related press release says "All fans can enjoy all content on the site for free, including the upcoming NATSUME YUJINCHO". I didn't see any statement regarding when the free episodes will become available on Crunchyroll. Any estimates as to how long the delay will be before the free content becomes available?

There are actually 8 now because Crunchyroll announced the second Tower of Druaga season and they are currently simulcasting Linebarrels of Iron.

Thanks, I saw these Cruncyroll posts before I just never paid attention before because the series were never ones I was interested in.

Although these questions might come up a lot because Cruncyroll's FAQ is not very informative in this regard
