This sounds pretty good. I'm excited to hear more about this. Finally, a Gundam series that doesn't revolve around a bunch of emo 12 year old kids. Gundam 00 was/is awesome, but SEED, Destiny and a couple others while entertaining in their own way...

Stop that.

Wow, a new Gundam series, and a return to the Universal Century! Er, but why another one around the same period as most of the rest of the UC programs? Post-CCA deserves a little attention, too.

Still, looking forward to it. Maybe all the people who bash 00 will be satisfied, too.

Tatsuyuki Suzuki working on a Gundam series interest me a lot. sounds like they're aiming for a more old-school mecha feel.

Honestly, I'm already happy seeing the character designs. Lately Gundam seems to have turned into "NeoRomance with more angst and mecha."

Hajime Katoki mecha designs

This alone makes my day. There is absolutely no-one better than Hajime Katoki.

Finally some more UC, suck it CE. Hopefully this won't have any moe, or awkward CG like IGLOO or Pailsen Files. I was looking forward to this possibly being Advance of Zeta, with all the crazy mech attachments and such that followed the GP-03 and Dendrobium in 0083.

Oh yes, and SIEG ZEON even though they're already destined to be complete failures here as well.

I am so excited....I've waited so long for new UC content (Evolve doesn't count). This is incredible, and I hope that the series will succeed and cause more UC material to be put out at a much faster pace than in the past (new UC material at every anniversary milestone is not fast enough)

I'm still waiting for a remake of Char's counterattack that follows the novel. Either that, or an English translation of the novel (and Hathaway's Flash, etc) so that I can actually read them.

Get out your Char masks ladies and gents (what? Tell me I'm not the only one with a Char mask. Come on now.)

Well I'm a UC Fan but instead of I like theGundam Wing era, already this an exception to the Gundam series, it's something to watch for.

Hmmm, 0081 so that would make it off the heels of 0080 War in Pocket but pre 0083 Stardust Memories (U.C calendar wise). Interesting... indeed.

Now lets just hope Tomino is directing (long shot i know) which would make it really cool. Either way should be fun.

My only hope is that they focus on the mechs and battles, and not on trifling character bickering. I just hope they cut out all the love story because that's what contributed negatively to 0083. Make this show for the hardcore fans, but with a higher budget than something like Pailsen Files. Then it'd be awesome.

I have now resigned to the fact that if i want a 3rd season of Gundam Seed, I'll have to foot the bill.

At a rate of $2M per episode I will need $100M...can anyone spare some change?
