I just bought a ticket. I can't believe I'll get to see Miyazaki with my own eyes!

I wonder if autographs are allowed, which would be more awesome on top of being in the same room as he is.

*Contemplating whether I should go.* It's gonna cost at least $500 for flights+1 night of hotel+food for me on this once-in-a-lifetime chance.

Sigh, CA is so far away.

I don't really care about his films, except for Princess Mononoke. His movies are too G-rated, Hippish, or boring to me.

Just my luck. The one time I am in the right location to see him, turns out to be the same weekend as Comic-Con. Argh!

I would care if Valentina had said "Spirited Away" instead of "Princess Mononoke", and apprently the academy agrees with me. (altho Porco Rosso is admittedly really good too, but Valentina only like one of his films and that ONE is "Princess Mononoke"? really? Razz )

(lemme guess, you'd like the others more if they had more arms getting chopped off? Anime dazed )

Too many effing vehicles I gotta take just to be there. And then, on top of that, I'd probably have to wait in line forever to get my seat. Glad I caught him when he was hosting Spirited Away. Now I'm hoping he'll show up in L.A. for Ponyo, too.

Yow

Tickets are going fast!

Zellerback is a very large performance space and most of the orchestra is now sold out.

Edit:

You can order at:
https://commerce.cpsma.berkeley.edu/tickets/tickets/reserve.aspx?performanceNumber=5229

Black seats are sold.
