If I may coin the phrase, I found this part to be very Shinkai-esque. Time constraints force each scene to bear significance, and relatively simple ideas to bear a greater impression on the viewer than they would do in a more eventful piece, simply through subtle use of dialogue and music. The final scene of such a work cashed in on the story's basic premise to commendable effect.
Aside this contribution though, I remain undecided as to whether Genius Party as a whole would be a worthy acquisition.
