Biglobe's anime streaming site, Anime-One, also aired the same uncensored version, followed by the same apology text.

It seems likely the mistake (if it really was a mistake, heh) was made at the source rather than at the streaming sites.

I wonder if episode 10 has the same sort of ridiculous censoring that the hot springs episode had.

I was thinking the same thing. For a show with so much censored content, I honestly thought that this was done on purpose the first time I read the article. I still have my suspicions.

They should be apologizing for airing the censored versions.

I too think that this is no "Accident". Especially now that we see just how different censored and uncensored versions are.

They know damn well they're able to play those versions on TV, they just take advantage of the easily controllable and gullible otaku by continually forcing them to buy the DVDs. They probably would regardless, but this is just to insure they do; a fail-safe. Despicable, really. The otaku I mean, they let themselves be manipulated like this.

Well, it draws publicity to the show, albeit shamelessly. The only way I can see these tactics not succeeding is if fans decide their desire for nudity can be sated by other means, and settle for the censored version without complaint. Surely the show must posess assts, for which the viewership continue to watch it, aside its fanservice.

Hey, if the show offers those in Japan who claimed that "they like 2D porn more than real women" exactly what they want. I can't help but to wonder just how really popular is the trend, that's making the industry to apply such shameless marketing tactic. Rolling Eyes

The sites that air some series know too damn well that they can show everything on the 'net, let alone Japanese TV.

And there are those who don't want censorship on internet media, why? They would rather watch streamed 2D porn because they don't get real actions? Rolling Eyes

Indeed, I'm waiting for the eventual uncensored DVD versions for this one. I suffered too much through the ridiculous Rosario+Vampire: Capu 2 censoring to watch any show that requires censoring via TV rips. Mad

Since the article say it streamed on Tuesday and that the uncensored version was removed anyway, and since the stream is almost certainly geo-locked to Japan, no.

Well, someone capped it anyway, and then added subs. God bless them.

Why do they have to censor it all? Ranma was really ecchi and had nipple shots.

Because it's a different time, and these nipples are more erotic.
