Wow! The second DVD will even be more ecchi. What other anime (probably not a lot) emphasizes exercise while giving drooling fan boys lots of fan service?

He has specifically said this isn't actually an exercise video, he only made it for fanservice.

Oh, I'm sure it's giving a lot of exercise to wrist muscles.

Whatever will get the otaku off of their butts, I suppose, no matter how fake or genuine it is. I can only imagine how good a tsundere version would be, though. Laughing

I was very disappointed with the first one. There was less emphasis on exercise and far too much emphasis on "ecchi" and awkward camera angles. Much of the animation was also very repetitive.

Come on now. Hentai exists for a reason. Why would you want to watch a clothed anime character exercising in order to jerk it when you can watch much more erotic scenes elsewhere?

It's like people who get off to Maxim. I just don't understand it. Or people who go to strip clubs. I can just watch a hardcore porn Blu-ray, why would I want to watch something as tame as a stripper?

Xizer, this is not hentai but just really dedicated ecchi.

And you seriously expected otherwise? Really now, this is Japan we are talking about here.

One would assume that brief, revealing positions and shots have their appeal just as much as more explicit adult content does. Naturally, one can accuse pure ecchi of doing things by half measures, though this is indeed all that some customers desire of their purchases.

Hmm, I was expecting this Training with Hinako thing to be a one-time phenomenon, but I'm not too surprised there's a sequel.

Ever gotten a lap dance from a Blu-Ray disc? And sometimes "less is more" applies. Teasing / near reveals can be better than the ordinary nudity and sex you'd see in hentai. Or at least provide for more variety. Then again, I don't recall exercising any muscles to the first OVA, other than my mouth in laughter.

Isshoi could be popular because it stressed exercising and fan service and those don't go together that often.

I don't know the detail of the content. If this video is an exercise video that claims actual otaku weight loss with before & after photos, then I might buy it.
