Did I forget to mention Trigun?

I'm with you 100% on that one, I would love to own this series. Is there some type of legal tie up involving Trigun because there is no excuse for Funi to pass up buying it. I mean it's a very popular series and there is still a strong market for it out there.

If you're looking for trigun, the rightstuf has the complete remix available for $39.99

The series I'd love to see licensed over here are Touch, Brother Dear Brother, Rose of Versailles, Reiko the Zombie Shop (to be finished), Second Season of Big Windup (plus the manga), Sailor Moon Stars and specials, Macross: Do You Remember Love?, Rozen Maiden: Overture, One Piece Movies, Hime-Chan no Ribbon, Ultimate Teacher, Wanna-Be's, Galaxy Express 999, Hakujaden, Mainichi Kasan...my list is too long Smile

Lots of classics and a few campy anime/manga series. I wish criterion could pick up a few titles like Hakujaden, they do such a great job with their movie releases.

Yes, forgot those too. Sailor Moon had several SuperS TV specials never licensed, nor was the Amy movie, and well, the dinosaur episode which will NEVER see the light of day, sadly Sad

The Suiginto OVAs were really good too, I've love to see those on some really cheap disk (like how they did the FMA OVAs etc)

People brought up Haibane Renmei, Paranoia Agent[b], and [b]Saikano. I've rented all of those from Netflix so I'm pretty sure they've been licensed. I think Funimation has Shikabane Hime or at least the streaming rights for it.

Anime I'd like to see:
Hyakko
Hatsukoi Limited
Jigoku Shoujo seasons 2 and 3
Kaiba
Kurozuka

Some series went out of print. The final volume of the Saikano manga goes for $90 on Amazon.com and that just isn't funny anymore. Well, unless you already own it, in which case you can laugh at the people who weren't fast enough when there were copies available for reasonable prices.

My original reply to this thread had me at 20 pages in Word. I spent hours tediously working on my list of series, and why I'd like to have them licensed.

Then, my cat came up to me and asked what I was doing. I said, "I'm writing down titles to see how many have cats in them, because I love them so much."

My cat looked at me quizzically, then said, "But aren't cats in all anime? If so, why not just do the obvious answer."

And with that, my response is simply this: ALL OF THEM.
