Well, that explains why everyone was getting confused over the number of episodes, but I wonder why they are releasing the episode in the middle of the DVD releases.

They did the same thing with Baccano! My guess is it's to encourage sales. Give people an extra epilogue story that they can't see on TV but can create by buying enough of your DVDs, and that might get you some more purchases. |

If I have the money I'll be interested in picking up this volume at least, since this has fast become one of my favourite shows this season and Crunchy is highly unlikely to get an OVA episode.

Notice that is says it will be a drama CD that's adapting a side-story. So even if we do get to see the exclusive episode, unless you know Japanese, we will still be left out of the side story
