What are you talking about? Chiaki Kon is a great director. Love her works.

Well, it's pretty, and it has a diverse cast of characters. It made me want to see more. which is probably the intention...

The character designs and color scheme are very nice imo. I've no firsthand familiarity with this series but I've heard good things about it, so the prospect of experiencing it as an anime is very appealing to me.

Umineko and Higurashi were not good adaptations of the original source material
