The video is almost worthless since all it is, is scrolling text (and nothing that resembles a picture). In Japanese.

The GT3 is a hot car, so anything you cover it in will be by default an awesome looking car. Yeah, the GT2 is the ultimate, but I have always been fond of the GT3's lines.

Edit: BTW, I like the 996 lines as well.

Then turn the text off.

Yeah, I don't think you get it. The whole video is just text, with just black screen background. There is no "video".

If I turn off the caption box, then it is just a blank screen.

Video works just fine for me, but I never got into the whole Vocaloid/Miku mania so I couldn't care less. Same with Touhou

The video on nicovideo.jp works. The embedded one on ANN does not.

It's nice to see my contribution to the Good Smile Company's profits are put to good use with a sponsorship to race cars with a figure that sells out long before pre-orders can be taken.

Anime. More expensive than drugs.

Good point. When I look at all the anime and manga and related that I've purchased over the last few years, all I can say is: " Holy crap, I could've bought a Harley!".

It's fun though, so...there you are.

Do they race these cars in North America, I'm wondering? It might be kind of fun to see one up close.

Nope, I think I figured it out. The embedded video is using kontera contentlink. An under browser Ad network tracking site. It's the only thing that comes up different from ANN's usual 3 tracking networks, so that must be it. I have a browser plug-in that block these tracking sites (I don't want companies logging where I browse and how often and what subjects I am interested in). Interestingly enough, the Japanese site uses no tracking networks, which is why the video worked fine when I clicked through to the .jp site.
