Went to Hammer Girl Anime today. If i had been drinking something i would have spit it out in shock. ouo/ Why is the Otometeki love revo manga translated and released here in the USA(when the game it's based off of is not)? well i don't know but i bought v. 1 - 2 anyway. It's called Ugly Duck Love Revolution here.
i figure i can use it as reference for when i get the Otometeki Love Revo game =u=/ |

Picked up .hack//LINK vol. 1 today, since I will probably never be able to play the game
EDIT: It must've been a long day today, looks like I accidentally grabbed vol 2 on accident... No wonder it felt kinda off >_> UPDATE (already!): Put in a preorder for Our Home's Fox Deity vol. 1 on the NISA Store... I would've gone TRSI, buuut they had an extra double-sided and laminated art page as an exclusive :/ I hate paying money for extra stuff now, but in the end it's worth it^^ I just wish the shipping on the site was a bit better... I'm thinking of putting an order on TRSI, but I just don't want to run out of money before Black Friday

To quote Spoon, "Everything hits at once" and so this week there was an unusually large convergence.
Manga-wise, I received Stolen Heart, Dash!, and my preorders for Double Cast and Stay Close to Me (even if they are fairly soft BL I still love Ellie Mamahara and Sakuragi Yaya, respectively). Quite luckily I also found a nice small inexpensive used bookshelf that meets my requirements (i.e. it has doors); For merchandise I received 2 shitajiki: Natsume Yuujinchou and yet another Kuroshitsuji one (the text on the latter partially reads, "Dark, fair, and noble, this butler is impeccable and of great integrity, and yet sometimes has dark thoughts."  );
And for figures I received the Gintama STYLING daaaa! series 3 set (love the detail, especially in the reclining Gintoki's accessories) and my 2 Kuroshitsuji Nendoroids (Sebastian - real this time- and Ciel with optional chair and tea set for Sebastian) that I ordered from Robert's Anime Corner last week. Not cheap but worth it to know I have the real thing and not bootlegs. (Oh, and one last thing-- though I've not paid for it yet, I did just preorder the upcoming Ciel doll from Azone via AmiAmi. I have rather poor impulse control sometimes but in my defense some other sites have already stopped taking preorders so...) |

Since I was up in the area anyway (going with my mom to appointments has their advantages sometimes), I stopped in at Barnes and Noble and picked up:
Hetalia: Axis Powers Vol. 1 xxxHolic Vol. 13 Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Vol. 6 The xxxHolic and Hetalia volumes are going to look so weird on my shelf: xxxHolic for the volume number being out of place - I have 1-8 and unlike my sporadic Tsubasa volumes I hadn't gone out of order before on this series - and Hetalia for its length compared to my other volumes. Ah well. Oh, and received notice that my Soul Eater and Tsubasa volumes I ordered on Walmart.com have been shipped and should be arriving at my store sometime at the end of next week. Can't wait to get them and start to reorganize the mess that is now my shelf.

Well, since I've started to go on a mini anime spending-spree (although I REALLY shouldn't before Black Friday :/), I picked up Sakura Taisen Ecole de Paris and the Sumerie OVA. I have the PS2 game, and decided to check out the rest of the series. Now, just to order the TV boxset and the OVA collection...

I got Clannad Part 2 and After Story Part 1 in the mail this week. After Story Part 2 is backordered.
I also went to Borders yesterday and picked up Story of Saiunkoku and the first Cardcaptor Sakura omnibus. =3 |

Just finished up some bargain shopping for the night. Got Ghost Hunt the complete collection (not the S.A.V.E. version) for $18.12, and also got the FLCL sets 1, 2, and 3 (unfortunately without the artbox for 3 though but I guess you can't complain when you are deal shopping) for $26.00 plus shipping. I think I did pretty good for the night.

You're not actually gonna buy that are you? To each his own I guess.....  . The packaging for that thing is terrible, much rather wait for Funimation's version.
