I hope it's Final Fantasy XV. It kind of sounds like a Shin Megami Tensei game, which would be an interesting direction for the series.
Otherwise, it might be Type-1, which wouldn't be bad either (especially if it's for the 3DS). |

Yeah, it's really sounds like classic Final Fantasy. Hope it'll be FFXV, 'cause I miss all this fantasy stuff without any sci-fi elements. And with such title this sure gonna be something epic. |

Art makes it look like an Ivalice title, and I wouldn't be surprised about another FF spinoff.

Because the name is Dissidia: Final Fantasy Duodecim 012 which means "Conflict: Final Fantasy 12". The game's latin name is absolutely incomprehensible to the average Joe, and just a horrible, horrible name.
Matsuno doesn't work with Square Enix, and in fact works at their largest competitor. Why would you think they'd use his series? |

This was my first thought upon reading the description before even clicking the link LOL. But yeah would be nice to see some oh i dunno FANTASY in Final Fantasy again. |

Totally sounds like a Final Fantasy title.
Though that begs the question of....which one?! FFXV? FFXIII-3? A new FF spin-off? There's no shortage of possibilities, guess it's time to wait for summer.

Perhaps becuase they still own the rights to said series and location? Obviously I don't know the specifics, but considering Ivalice has only been featured in Square Enix titles, it wouldn't surprise me to learn they get dibs on the setting. I was thinking spinoff as well... even a new Tactics game. |

Doesn't look much like a PS3 release to me. I'd be surprised if one of the major numbered FF games wasn't released for that platform.

It won't be Final Fantasy XV. It'll probably be a mobile or handheld game. It's too early for a Type-0 sequel. |

Maybe this one will become what the other FF's should have been. I think it's been going down hill since 10.
