ERAGHHHHH, MY BONER JUST GOT SOOOOOO BIG.

I LOVE BERSERK.

Here's to many more releases in Japan to trickle back across the pond over here. Where is that last Inuyasha set anyway - yeesh?

Great. Another excellent license for them to sit on forever. Evil or Very Mad

As Long as they keep the major cast the same,

Berserk Films Licensed already. HELL YEAH!! These will be day 1 purchases. Plus since they are Movies i feel comfortable we will get a dub. I wonder how much if any of the TV Series Cast they will get?

Would love at least Gutts (Marc Diraison) ,Griffith (Kevin Collins) and Caska (Carrie Keranen) to be the same but i admit im hoping for way too much here.

Send them an email or letter. If enough fans request an outsourced dub to NYAV Post it could happen.

I guess it's the whole Warner connection which got them to do that. I hope it boosts interest in the original show and manga, but I imagine it's reached everyone who wants to see it by now.

I just wish we'd get some Berserk animated other than Golden Age.

Evidently, so does Japan. That's why the first movie bombed. Laughing

What makes you think we aren't getting it?

Because they've been implying we'd get a sequel for the longest time, and they reneged on it?

While on one hand, Viz has a golden opportunity to capitalize on the western market here with a property like Berserk. On the other, they've been sitting on Tiger & Bunny for a long time now.

They'll put the Berserk movies on home video, because they probably cost more than they were worth to just stream 'em.

Viz listen to me carefully "You have to get the original cast for the Berserk films!" At least the main characters: Carolyn Keranen as Caska, Kevin T. Collins as Griffith and Marc Diraison as Guts. If you mess this up the fans will never forgive you. I'm warning you this is huge don't blow it!

That's it. Evil or Very Mad

I can agree on those three at least, the rest of the cast is mostly inconsequential, but I can't hear Guts as anything but Marc. Even when I read the manga, his voice just so perfectly fits the character, his stature, his attitude, his resolve.

Thankfully NY Post also has a studio in LA which is where Viz does most of their dubs, so there's a pretty good shot at them at least making an attempt at it.

I'll believe it when I see it. Viz has burnt fans too many times to be trusted at this point.

A bit unexpected to see Viz actually invest in something considering I haven't been a fan of theirs in recent years thanks to their handling of Monster. I guess since Media Blasters is in hot water financially that they didn't have the means to snag up the license to the film trilogy. Will have to see how Viz manages this one.

I'm glad someone licensed Berserk! I guess I can stop telling Funimation on all those surveys to license it. The price tag might have been high for it.

I'm happy to see the Beserk movies will be licensed. I'll buy them, for sure. I just sort of forgot that Viz actually released anime titles that aren't Bleach, Naruto or Pokemon.

Either provide sources or shut the hell up.

Your choice, friend.
