The guns in old WB cartoons aren't very realistic like those in Upotte!!
Someone doesn't remember Mike Judge being in hot water because some kid burned their house after imitating Beavis and Butthead playing w/ matches. config: That's an individual parent's choice to take his/her kid to a shooting range. It's not the same as leaving guns lying around the house, though. Or at least making it easy for them to break open a gun lock. Yeah, Upotte!! shouldn't be blamed for earning those Darwinian gold medals, but it would be, so... Purple:

Well i was hoping for sentai to pick up Eureka Ao.. o well still hoping, the titles they picked up are good, ones im interested are "Hakuoki" and is dub, thankyou sentai, and "Bakumatsu Kikansetsu", Good job

Holy crap, Hakuoki? I recently finished playing the game Aksys brought over (loved it), and was thinking how nice it would be if the anime was licensed so I could watch it...so glad it actually happened!

(Hope you don't mind someone other than the person you asked answering this) For me, Hakuouki gave me substantially the same thing from start to finish - a bishonen fantasy story about the Shinsengumi with absolutely GORGEOUS art (all of the Shinsengumi men are beautiful to look at). The story moves slowly, but has some very good dramatic moments and I was moved to tears by a number of episodes, particularly in season 2. So yes, the story does pick up, though it never reaches jet speed or anything.  I felt both seasons were well worth watching, though.
