My first manga was Bleach I believe. I had been hearing a lot of buzz about it and then happened to see it on the shelf in a barnes and noble. Completely oblivious to what even the series was about, I decided to pick it up and take it home to read. I very much enjoyed it and have been buying manga regularly since and expanding my horizons.

Mine was D.Gray-man. I was an Anime fan for years, but I stumbled into the manga section at my bookstore one day and decided to make a blind purchase because D.Gray-man's premise sounded exciting.
To this day I'm a hardcore D.Gray-man fan, so that was the best Anime/Manga-related decision I ever made. |
