What does that opinion even have to do with anything? It's not like he won the "Greatest Voice Actor in the World" award, he's just receiving some recognition for the dedication and contributions he put into the world of video gaming. It's literally a matter of quantity, not quality, so why don't you stay on topic?

Anyway, congrats to Blum, hope he has a great place to hang that award.

Well, hurrah for him. He'll always be Spike to me, but he's clearly deservedly cornered the market on cool badass voices. I've only heard him a few times, most recently as Oghren in Dragon Age as don't play games much anymore, but I've heard him in plenty of advertisements and trailers.

Fun fact: Steve Blum has a tattoo of the waveform of him saying, spoiler["bang."]

The smiley face was there for a reason...

David Lucas was a pseudonym that Steve Blum used for non-union work. He even used to insist that they were separate people.
So Kenji Ikari was just kidding around a little with that fact.

I can still remember the brief panic when we thought that the original English voice of Spike had been replaced for Cowboy Bebop: The Movie because Steve Blum rather than David Lucas was credited the part.

I also think of all the roles he's not credited in. The count must be much higher if they were included, but I can see why one would hide it to be on the safe side of things. Congrats to him.

Awesome, Steve Blum is a great voice actor. I like him in many of his role, my favorite is when he's Wolverine. I also liked him as Grunt in Mass Effect 2.

That's pretty cool. It's not at all surprising that he would have the most roles.

I doubt the Guiness Book of Records knows or cares about foreign 18+ games. So while Blum might not OFFICIALLY have the world record, he has the record for stuff released in America.
