Oh, come on now. Don't you all think you're being a little demanding of a commercial from a small restaurant chain? They obviously can't afford Madhouse here.
I thought it was weirdly funny, particularly the tollbooth part and random declaration of love. |

Right on! And screw everyone that thinks the commercial was bad, it shows the excellence of King James, the savior that wll break the dreaded Cleveland Curse that has plague my great city for over 40 years. |

Ah, yes. I remember now. Michael Jordan had a great part in that. How I miss those days... The commercial was pretty much average. I didn't like the animation or the character designs. But for a small restaurant chain it was, ok. |

They should've used Tarzan Yamada and his Drifting Viper.

I hope the animators are going to do Hirikiri. That animation doesn't fit anime. I haven't eaten at a Benihaha before and I probably won't. Though I saw it on the web so I can't vouch for the the commercial on TV. *shivers again* Ranmah |

I liked the chamber of fear better. I saw some segments of the commercial in Taiwan. Very cool. Shoes are too expensive.
I think the Kung-Fu guy looks like the guy from Enter the Dragon. I could be wrong. Ranmah |

Is Benihana actually affordable? I'd like to eat there, but the one in L.A. makes me think you have to be loaded to dine there.

It depends on what your definition of affordable is. The menu offers main dishes from about $15 all the way up to $35. I usually get Hibachi Steak, which is like $20 or so. For that you get soup, salad, shrimp appetizer (like 3 little pieces but still good) veggies, and i think fried rice is actually extra, because it comes with steamed rice, it's like $2. It's not the kind of thing you could afford all the time, but for special occasions or every once in awhile it's fine. |
