When I used to play YuGiOh, I also noticed that the Japanese cards looked better.

Also, the Japanese cards had original versions, but when those cards were released over here they were edited because they were deemed too offensive. What I have noticed is that lately Konami in Japan makes their cards so that they aren't edited when they are released here.

all you got to do is go to a few flea markets were they have sellers from all over the world(China, Korea,Mexico,etc...) selling all kinds of stuff and junk, and you can find bootleg sets of both Pokemon and
Yugioh cards. And they seem to be selling well too!!!

I doubt that CCGs will completely disappear, but I'm certain that Japanese game companies will be more hesitant to deal with American manufacturers (just look at the bad blood between Nintendo and WotC).

More like that Japanese companies should learn that contracts must be respected (unlike Japan) and just because you are the owner of the rights doesn't mean that you can abuse from them at expense of others.

I find this interesting but not entirely shocking. I've heard other moderately credible rumors regarding UD, and that they may or may not make extra prints of their incredibly valuable sports cards to sell specifically to select dealers in order to make a few more shady bucks.
