Team functioned liked a well oiled machine!
It wasn't without its problems though. Kuroko did his worrying thing.. Akashi's life was not as good as it seemed. He was being pushed so he pushed others too. Everyone had its own problems. The team was nowhere near harmonious.. |

Idk how I feel about these flashbacks at this point. It's nice to know more about the GoM again but it seems to be dragging. spoiler[Akashi has that strange personality of his. And of course, we get the other members and their own problems.]
At this rate, we are down to a few more episodes to showcase the final match. |

Curious why you think it's dragging. From what I heard from manga readers, Teiko arc is rushed and going at a fast pace, and the anime is even omitting some scenes from the manga. |

This is a flashback miniarc, just like Bleach's spoiler[Turn Back the Pendulum] and spoiler[Everything but the Rain] or Magi's spoiler[Alma Torran] arc, it's supposed to explain many things. And as has been said, they're actually rushing through it, it's probably gonna be over next week. Besides, do you really want more than 8 episodes for the final match? That shit is what really drags |

Season 3, Episode 17:
Well they finally got started with the finals. spoiler[Based on the episode # count, I guess it will detail at least 8+ episodes. They even have an OP song featuring both teams exclusively now.] Decent buildup to the match I guess with everything coming together. spoiler[Looks like the ball has started on the floor though and Kagami's eyes spells out ZONE. Seirin takes the slight lead for now but we got a looooooong way to go.] |

Finally back to the main plot!
Pre-game preparations and tying up loose ends. There is gonna be lots of people watching that game from the bleachers. spoiler[Rakuzan vs Seirin! Winter Cup Finals!!!] Damn, that's gonna be intense.. already feel it. Just the spoiler[presentation of players made me feel how important this game is. Wow!! The game is off to an epic start! Shutoku vs Kaijo game] kept popping in from time to time. |

This show is in love with the Zones. I mean, all the Uncrowned Kings on Akashi's team has them and now, Kagami has the True Zone.
One more episode left. |

Yeah, this one had me laughing. Every time they get all awestruck over The Zone, I can't help but think of this. :D
