That's okay! I was just wondering what's taking so long. Anyway, congrats to the winner! The banner is very cute.
Driftroot, I like how Jandress is hugging the snowman. That's very cute. How long did it took you to draw them?
By the way Tempest, are there any plans for another ANN holiday banner contest in the future?

Wow!! Everyone did a great job, and the winner's is so cute.
 I had no input on the winner this year, probably because I have had internet trouble and haven't been online lately, but it's okay because I would have had a hell of a time deciding!
There are so many good ones! Agh! I was very impressed with the professional level of many of the entries, like Ryankets. And Mirana (I don't think she's on this forum) gets props because, but she honestly enters every contest that involves drawing Jad! They are all great, good job everybody! |

very cool banners. I kind of like Ryankets' verson of Jadress. Maybe we could have a choice of banners to put on the site.

That's because I think Jadress is cute, Ra-chan. ^_~ I'm sorry I couldn't do something new this year, I only had a chance to "fix" the old one.

The snowman and her body* didn't take me much time at all to draw. Coloring in everything in Photoshop and making sure it all looked one piece was the real time-killer. Made a lot of mistakes along the way (still learning!). So... 10-15 minutes for the drawing, 6-8 hours for the whole banner. It was a nice challenge for me, though, I almost ditched the whole thing a few times before kicking myself in the butt and carrying on. *I cheated with Jadress. If you'll notice, her head matches the official Christmas logo head given to us to use. I tweaked it a bit for my purposes. Kudos to the original artist!! Didn't mean to deface your work, but I took a very loose interpretation of the contest's directions to "use our Jadress Christmas logo." |

That was your cache showing the old image instead of the new one. The top part was given a different name than the bottom part, so it updated right away... The bottom part was given the same nme as the old image, so your browser loaded the image from your cache |
